Le Petit Chef meets Jakarta

The Grand Hyatt’s latest Le Petit Chef show is a dining experience like nothing you have seen before

Le Petit Chef is just 58 mm tall, and he will not grow any larger. He was born in April 2015 at Skullmapping Studios in Belgium.

By using a profound artistic knowledge, and combining it with the latest technology, Skullmapping tells stories with stunning bespoke visuals, such as “Le Petit Chef”. The technology is called 3D Projection Mapping.

Whimsy is a multi-sensory fine dining experience. It combines award-winning cooking with state-of-the-art 360 degree projection technology. The goal of Whimsy is to elevate a fine dining experience into another dimension: Cinema. The show literally pushes boundaries. Highly customized fine dining merges with interactive entertainment, creating truly memorable experiences.

Dinner in the Sky started out in 2007 in Belgium. It is a novelty restaurant service which uses cranes to hoist its diners, table, and waiting staff 150 feet into the air. Forbes magazine called it one of the world’s 10 most unusual restaurants. Dinner in the Sky has mobile services available in 45 nations.
